For Father's Day all Josh wanted to do is go to the park, hang out, and BBQ with friends! It ended up being such a great time hanging out and catching up with friends! Thanks everyone for coming. It was for sure a BOY day! Enjoy the pictures and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!! (Are you girls proud of me or what???!!!)
I am so glad that Kingston loves water and I don't have to force it down him or try some tricky way of getting him to drink it. On the other hand, I do have to be careful when I bring out his water because when he has it...there is no taking it away!
Kingston is now 7 months old and he is learning new things everyday. It is so amazing to watch him soak in his surroundings
and learn new things. I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute and every stage of Kingston's life! He is now crawling, eating veggies, drinking from a sippy cup, and smiling all the time! Kingston, my sweet baby boy, you are my joy and I love you forever!
2009 has been a wild ride with its fair share of ups, down, and all the crazy "in-betweens". Times like these however remind us of the blessing we seem to pass by each and every day. There is just something about listening to your child laugh or watching them sleep. These are the precious joys we miss when our day at work is not going so well or when life just happens! We are tremendously blessed with the family, friends and community we are surrounded with. Take a minute and absorb the joy that is in front of you before you let a frustrating situation take advantage of your patience and virtue. It's almost become kind of cliche to talk about slowing down and paying attention to the things around you more. What a tremendous shame it would be to not heed the simple message in that suggestion. I don't know about you all but it felt like my son was born yesterday and he is moving and talking and smiling like a little boy. We never seem to be able to pinpoint where the time goes but it sure is going.
Well, as you can all see I am not very good in the blogging world. I decided that it is time to share since my baby is 20 weeks old today. Kingston is the joy of my life and I could not imagine life without him. He is growing more and more each day. He loves to smile and laugh, roll over and stand up (with help), grab for toys and put his binky in his mouth all by himself, and he loves to go on walks with Mommy and Daddy! We are truly blessed by having Kingston in our life and thank God daily for allowing us to raise one of His children. We are also so blessed to have friends and family that pray for Kingston and his future walk with our God! Here are a few pictures of my joy!
Yes, today Kingston is 5 weeks old and I can not believe it. He has grown sooo much right before our eyes and I do my best to relish in every little noise, movement, and look. Kingston is almost 23 in. and 9lbs. 8oz. What I love most is when he looks at me, coos, and smiles. He already knows how to melt my heart and it reminds me just how blessed Josh and I are. Kingston loves to be on his tummy and in his swing! That is great for me because finding time to get things done is half impossible. Although I HATE to put him down and I really could just hold him all day long! He has changed my life and I feel I am finally doing what God designed me to do....Be a mommy, and I love it! Here are some pictures from the past 5 weeks!
